Starting college is a monumental time in your life. You may have mixed feelings in anticipation of starting college - excitement, anxiety, nervousness, etc. But you've come to the right place!

Here are a few things to keep in mind for Orientation:
- You're going to be taking in a lot of information over the course of a day and a half, which can be stressful and overwhelming. However, all of the information you'll be getting will be available to you online and through other means outside of Orientation, so RELAX! Focus on one thing at a time. You're not expected to have it all figured out after a day and a half.
- Prepare for registration by looking up class sections and their corresponding CRN numbers on iROAR before coming to Orientation. That way you will know what questions to ask when you meet with your advisor and will not be so stressed out when planning your schedule.
- Keep an open mind. There will be opportunities at Orientation and during the first few weeks of classes for you to get information about clubs, organizations, and other ways to get involved. Definitely get involved at your own pace - there's no rush - but remember that college is a good time to try things that you may have never had the opportunity to do before!
